Hello Reader,
Elated with your responses to previous posts. I am getting inspired from your words. Thank you all.
Well I am feeling like I should write one more and one more and one more....... Contd..
There was another incidence, happened just few months ago.
I was traveling from Newark to Aurangabad sometime in march. Actually it was last minute decision for travel, got the last minute ticket to Mumbai. I made the reservations for Mumbai- Pune travel. These long journeys sometime gets tiresome, in fact most of the time. It started with making jugad with Jet Airways in Newark to get a good seat in the flight. To my luck, I got a seat with enough legroom to sleep, with more comfort. I was very happy. At last I got a nice place to sit and sleep. I went to my seat, kept my stuff in the luggage area and put my ass on the cushion. Well it was quite joyful to sit there. All efforts, we made at the Jet counter were worth for it. "Excuse Me Sir", heard those melodious words from equally melodious air hostess. "Yes" I was just looking at her. "Would you mind moving to another seat, because one of the passenger is not feeling comfortable at her seat, she is in pain. If you could switch you seats". I looked at that passenger, I felt so pity about myself, I got a seat worth sleeping for and now I have to go back. The lady was in pain, I mean she was little oversized for that seat. She couldn't fit in there. As usual you often get caught with smiles and beautiful face, you forget what you said. I said "Yes". "Thank you, you are so kind". Now the smile was more natural and she felt the relief of handling the oversized load. I went to her seat and said sorry to my friends who worked hard to get me that seat. Well after few hours I heard snoring from the same lady in my seat. Thank god somebody is sleeping.
After long hours of travel, landed in Mumbai and was searching for KK (travels). Their driver was ready to pick the passenger. He said "Gaadi ready hain, bus ek aur passenger baaki hain". He asked me to follow him.We went to the car. I put my stuff in there and immediately got the front passenger seat and decided I wont move from here now. Driver told me that there are two more girls in the cab so we are waiting for them. They will be coming in five minutes. Well I was little unhappy because the five minute is equivalent to a hour in most of the cases. But I was wrong, girls did come in 5 minute.
Real story begun after that. I was sitting on the front passenger seat of the innova, and the girls quickly grab their window seats in the back. Rest of the area was filled with bags. I felt so accomplished, thank god, we are leaving on time now, so do the others except driver. He said "Aur ek person chahiye, phir hum log nikal sakte hain". That was enough for the girls to start arguing "Aise kaise ho sakta hain bhaiyya, aapne bola tha 3 log chahiye, hum ho gaye hain 3, ab jadli chalo". Driver was reluctant to leave without the 4th person. Girls continued arguing. They were looking at me and talking to the driver, I totally got their implication. I was little tired with journey so didn't want to get involved in it. Argument continued. "Bhaiyya", "Madam" were the key words I was listening. Then finally I saw someone coming towards the car with luggage. I immediately interrupted their argument and told someone is coming. Both the girls looked at each other, didn't say a word but you can clearly tell, how much they wanted to talk about it, by looking at their face. Well the new guy came in, "Pune Jayega na?". " Haan aapka hi wait kar rahe the" driver with relief. He started to put his stuff in the car. He moved to grab a seat. Girls took the window seats. There were not ready to move from their position. They told him to seat in between them. I don't know what happened to that person, but he immediately got his stuff out of the car and told us, he is not interested in coming. Everyone was surprised. Why is he not sitting in there?. I started asking girls what did you say ?. They didn't want to move from their places and he didn't want to seat in between. So he left. I was running late, I had to pick up another bus from Pune to Aurangabad. It was 1 AM in the night. I decided to find somebody else. I got out of the car and found one more person coming in. I told him, car is ready, only problem is he has to sit in between two girls. He looked in suspicion as if there is something wrong. He replied NO in flash. Search was continued, finally after an hour long search, got someone who is willing to come but not ready to sit in between. And as usual I was the victim of settlement, I decided sit in between, to which girls were happy about it. I was happy, finally we got some miles on the car, and driver laughing at me, "Pehle kyoun nahi baithe aap". Finally came to pune, in early hours around 5:30 AM, got another bus to Aurangabad in time.
Memorable Journey.

Thank you.
